Temporary downtimes from few seconds to two minutes are possible all the time.
I contacted the hoster to give me information about the server load. Maybe we really growing faster than the server is able to priovide.
I take every hint very seriously but it don't help to post pings. Did you have connection problems, did you wait long time until the site gives you the datas or did you receive an error message within your browser? If there is not enough power provided by the server, then I can ask the hoster to give us the connection we are paying for.
I did not understand it as a public attack. I wished you sent me a PM so we could discuss what is the best tool to find the reason. We should not throw a command into the community we are causing trouble 'cause there are a lot of public pages with losses while pinging them. It is a security feature to block pings. So you will never find out with pinging a page if there is someting wrong.Whooa Vija, I never started a public attack against our hoster.
Keep up smiling. Things are never as bad as they seem (or: Nothing will be eaten as hot as it will be cooked!)
I wrote to the hoster and wait now for an answere.
